Environmental Protection - Preserving The Planet

A Brief Outline

  • Ensure sustainable and equitable use of resources without degrading the environment or risking health or safety.
  • Prevent and control degradation of land, water, vegetation and air
  • Conserve and enhance natural and man-made heritage, including biological diversity of unique ecosystems
  • Improve condition and productivity of degraded areas
  • Use Eco-friendly resources

If we take an ecosystem approach to resource management and environmental protection we can then consider the complex interrelationships of an entire ecosystem in decision making rather than simply responding to specific issues and challenges. Ideally, the decision-making processes under such an approach would be a collaborative approach to planning and decision making that involves a broad range of stakeholders across all relevant governmental departments, as well as industry representatives, environmental groups, and community. This approach ideally supports a better exchange of information, development of conflict-resolution strategies and improved regional conservation. Religions also play an important role in the conservation of the environment.

At TJD True Organics we take an approach that requires us to look at what kind of system or development we are creating and the impact not just on the land we are using but on the equipment and how we utlize local resources and the carbon footprint this will leave. We do not create projects that are not eco-friendly and never go in and clear cut land. We replace what we take and improve the land whenever and wherever possible. We use only sustainable resources and clean energy. We minimize our waste and repair the eco-sytem before we consider our project complete.
